Engage
in Healthy, Non-Violent Relationships |
 |
Be
Open and Honest About Abuse- it
may be hard to talk about, but children need to process the violent events

with homework, know who their friends are, where they are going and what they
are doing |

Them the Violence Was Not Their Fault- that
there was nothing they did wrong to cause the abuse |

can get support and your children have the opportunity to learn and play
for the evening. |
 |
Give
Your Child Unconditional Love - tell
your child that he or she is a good person, that you are proud of them,
compliment them on what they do well, hug them, kiss them, tell them you love
them, SHOW them you love them. |
