The Bridge to Hope

2007 Statistics

The Bridge to Hope is a locally based non-profit domestic abuse and sexual assault agency that provides free access to the following services:

·         24-Hour Crisis Line

·         On-Call Support for Sexual Assault Victims

·         Emergency Transportation (Doctor/Emergency Room)

·         Shelter

·         Advocacy (legal, medical, housing, employment)

·         One-on-One Support Services

·         Support Groups:

Domestic Abuse Group for Adults & Children / 

Sexual Assault Group for Adults and Teens

·         Community Education and Prevention Education

·         Information and Referrals

·         Safe and Accessible Facility and Services

299 clients of Dunn & Pepin Counties received services from The Bridge in 2007.

            875 Crisis Calls were received (Dunn & Pepin)

            621 miles of Transportation were provided (Dunn & Pepin)

The Bridge to Hope provided the following hours of service:

 

        1063.5 hours in Legal, Medical, Housing, Employment and Other Advocacy (Dunn & Pepin)

 665 hours of Support Group Services with 266 children and 399 adults in attendance

 722 hours of One-On-One Support (Dunn & Pepin)

  307 hours on Crisis Calls (Dunn & Pepin)

 

The Bridge to Hope Emergency Shelter for Dunn & Pepin Counties:

 

    30 Adults and 33 Kids received Emergency Shelter in 2007

  984 total Shelter Nights were provided

The Bridge to Hope Volunteers in 2006 for Dunn & Pepin Counties:

            76 community members Volunteered  910 hours of their time to The Bridge

The Bridge to Hope Presentations in 2007 for Dunn & Pepin Counties:

          82 community Presentations were made totaling  99 hours and reaching over 2149 people
